Tarian Sarah

Sarah's dance is a traditional Malay dance. The dance of Sarah has a rhythm of the music of a vibrant desert that represents a jubilant. This dance is well-known among the Arabs of the Arabs in the districts of Johor Bahru, Batu Pahat and Muar. In Johor, these dances are usually performed by men only. They dance in tandem with the same movement and in a Samrah rhythmic tempo, the dancer's couple can dance alternately and this allows the first couple to rest and be replaced by the next couple and so on. (This dance can also be performed by female dancers but in separate and closed spaces and reserved for female viewers only). The dance is also performed at wedding ceremonies and family gatherings such as gratitude and marriage ceremonies. These dances also sometimes last for many nights.
