MAIN HALL UPM, 4th May 2017 – A total of 2 firemen led by Tuan Mohd Amir Ismail from Seri Kembangan Fire and Rescue Station along with 6 staff from First Aid Unit, UPM's Occupational Safety and Health Office held a check on premises in conjunction with the Gemilang Akademia Putra (MGAP) Ceremony which will be held on May 14, 2017.

This inspection intend to ensure SSAAS Center's Culture and Arts Center premises will always comply with the Fire Services Act 1988 and in the best condition where DYMM Sultan Selangor as Chancellor of UPM will attend to Gemilang Akademia Putra 2017 Ceremony. 

Inspection scope involves fire alarm panel, hose reel, water sprinkler and fire extinguisher. Overall, the fire department was satisfied with the condition of all fire prevention equipment equipped at the SSAAS Center of Culture and Arts.
