The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Arts and Cultural Centre UPM received a benchmarking visit for the Ecosystem Conducive Public Sector (EKSA) from the Centre for Management of Waqf, Zakat and Endowment (WAZAN) on April 15, 2022. The objective of this visit was to share information, experiences, and creative thoughts/ideas in the implementation of EKSA at PKKSSAAS.

  

  

Among the activities during the visit include a briefing on EKSA, the introduction of EKSA committee members as well as a visit to each EKSA zone at PKKSSAAS. This collaboration has provided added value between the two PTJs to plan initiatives that can be implemented in the future and at the same time can foster the spirit of cooperation of all UPM staff in the implementation of EKSA at UPM in general.

  

  

After the sharing session and briefing by the Director of PKKSSAAS, a zone evaluation session was conducted by WAZAN staff based on presentations by representatives from each zone. WAZAN staff were taken to each zone to hear and see the creative endeavours of the PKKSSAAS staff. Out of the four (4) zones evaluated, the Cengal zone had won the hearts of WAZAN staff and was selected as WAZAN's preferred zone during this visit.
