Majlis Gemilang Putra (MGP) was successfully physically held on 24 May 2022 at the Great Hall, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Arts and Cultural Centre (PKKSSAAS), UPM and broadcasted live through the official UPM Facebook page.

A total of 632 award recipients were celebrated and recognized at this event. The award ceremony went smoothly starting with the recipients of the Jasa Putra Award, the Outstanding Service Award and the Over 40 Years’ Service Award.

  

 

As the Hall Preparation and Logistics Committee, PKKSSAAS staff had made initial preparations and arrangements such as arranging chairs and tables based on the floor plan provided and helping to coordinate other needs as requested by the organizers. Also

in attendance to perform during the event was the Band Putra group consisting of UPM staff.

Notably, Mr. Mohd Saipul Mohd Darji, who was formerly a PKKSSAAS staff member, was nominated and selected as a recipient of the Excellent Service Award for this session. "Congratulations to Mr. Mohd Saipul Mohd Darji on this award. Hopefully it will act as a driving force and motivation for all the staff at PKKSSAAS to carry out their duties and responsibilities more brilliantly, productively, innovatively and with quality. In fact, it is also one of the stimulants to continue serving and contributing to the PTJ and the university in general" said Encik Husalshah Rizal Hussian, Director of PKKSSAAS.

This ceremony was graced by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Nazamid bin Saari, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UPM.
